HOSPITAL SOFTWARE ANALYST I/II
We are currently looking to fill a full-time Hospital Software Analyst I/II position. Under general direction, the incumbent will be responsible for the ongoing professional support of a designated suite of clinical/financial/operational applications, including process analysis, design, implementation and upgrades, such as ASP model software, Client/Server Software, Faxing Software, Dispensing Software and Interface Software.
Hospital Software Analyst I is the entry-level position in the series, receiving regular oversight and direction from management and/or the more senior analysts, while performing increasingly responsible duties in the maintenance and upgrade of clinical applications. The Hospital Software Analyst II is the fully experienced journey-level classification, performing the full scope of software application programming and analysis work with minimal supervision, including design and program development tasks. Incumbents research, access, develop, evaluate, modify, document, implement and train on complex software applications.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field and 1-2 years of experience in systems analysis or computer programming in a healthcare environment. The Hospital Software Analyst II position requires 1-2 years of progressively responsible analytical experience performing a variety of information technology systems analysis, design, development, installation, implementation or technical support duties in connection with information technology systems, healthcare related computer systems or analysis of operational methods and designing information technology systems to meet desired results in a healthcare environment.
